Extra Fees Charged by Private Colleges

The CEE, the Kerala state counseling authority, has given all the colleges to charge a special fee each year. The colleges can only charge the fees as per the instruction from the authority.

The special fees range from Rs.45,000 to Rs.90,000 in the first year and almost Rs.30,000 to Rs.55,000 in the second year. These are fees which they call material fees or clinical fees in other states.

The special fees for each college is mentioned in the PDF file I shared above.

Does this include a hostel and food?

No, this special fee doesn’t include the hostel and food charges. If you are staying in a college hostel you have to pay somewhere around Rs.80,000 to Rs.1.5 lakhs per year depending on the colleges and facilities you need.

If you are looking for NRI quota fees too, then you can go through my detailed article about NRI quota fees in Kerala for MBBS.

How to Secure Lowest Management Quota Fees in Kerala?

There is one and only one way – Merit!

Yes, you might get calls from hundreds of so-called expert consultants, who might claim that they can provide you MBBS admission through management quota in Kerala at the lowest fees with any NEET score.

A few years back it was so, that if you qualified for the NEET entrance exam, then you could pay the fees and secure an MBBS seat. But, for a few years, the admission procedure has been completely centralized.

That means, that after you qualify for NEET, you must attend the centralized counseling conducted by CEE.

I will openly tell you that if you don’t score well in NEET – it’s even hard to get MBBS admission in Kerala.

Ready to pay more fees? – NRI Quota or Other States or Abroad

If you are ready to pay more fees when compared to Kerala, then there are chances you might get a seat for MBBS. There are three options for that:

  • NRI Quota.
  • Other States.
  • Abroad.

Depending on your budget you can choose a college in the above-mentioned categories. The NRI quota fee for MBBS is Kerala is Rs.20,86,400 – which is fixed by the government.

  • Counseling Guidance: I can guide you through the complete admission process, starting from registration till allotment of seat.
