SDM Institute of Ayurveda and Hospital Bangalore was founded in the year 2010. The college got affiliation with the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences and commenced its first batch in 2015. At present, the campus is accommodating four batches of students, each consisting of around 100 UG students per academic year. The Institute has also introduced postgraduate courses in six specialized fields, which started in the academic year 2022.
