Established in 1996, Alva’s Ayurveda Medical College Moodbidri marked its silver jubilee in 2020. The college offers BAMS, MD, and MS in Ayurveda, and Ph.D. in Ayurveda courses. The BAMS course spans over 5 years and 6 months, including a year of compulsory internship, with an intake capacity of 100 students. As for postgraduate courses, the MD Ayurveda and MS Ayurveda have an intake capacity of 61 and 14 students, respectively. The institute also provides a Ph.D. center in Ayurveda.
