I am Vishnu Nambiar, an educational consultant and career blogger with more than 12 years of experience. I generally share the latest information and updates about different courses, colleges, etc.
In this post, I will give you a complete insight into the BNYS course fees in Tamil Nadu colleges. I will also give you a brief about the extra fees charged by the college, the admission procedure, the documents required, etc.
There are a total of 17 BNYS colleges in Tamil Nadu and out of which 1 is a government naturopathy college. All these colleges are affiliated with The Tamil Dr.MGR Medical University.
And the BNYS admission procedures for all the colleges are the same, as all the colleges are affiliated with the same university.
BNYS Fees Structure in Tamil Nadu
The fee structure for the BNYS course in Tamil Nadu ranges from Rs.1.25 lakhs to Rs.2.25 lakhs per year. You might be thinking what is this big range for the fees?
If you are opting for BNYS colleges through state counseling, then your fee structure will be Rs.1.25 lakhs per annum, which must be paid for 4.5 years. This is just the tuition fees!
Apart from these, there are extra charges for a hostel, food, uniform, transportation, books, etc. These extra fees completely depend on each college. You can expect around Rs.70,000 to Rs.80,000 per year for hostel and food.
And an extra charge of around Rs.20,000 for uniforms, books, etc.
BNYS Management Quota Fees in Tamil Nadu
Only 35% of seats come under management quota and the fee structure ranges from Rs.1.5 lakhs to Rs.2.25 lakhs depending on colleges. The hostel and extra charges remain the same as mentioned above.
It is better to choose BNYS colleges in Karnataka, because of the fee affordability, infrastructure, and patient exposure. There is a college in Karnataka, where the principal is from Tamil Nadu and the college has an attached General Hospital and Medical College.
The fee structure for the college is Rs.10 lakhs total package including hostel, food, tuition fees, and all the extra charges. And this is the best BNYS college I have visited and known in India.
