Courses Offered

Undergraduate, Postgraduate and DNB programs are offered by the Sree Gokulam Medical College Trust & Research Foundation, Trivandrum. 

MBBS is the undergraduate degree with a total number of 150 seats. The course duration is four and a half years including one year of rotatory internship. After you complete MBBS final year, before resuming internship, you must obtain provisional registration with TCMC. 

Eligibility:

• You need to qualify the 10+2 examination with a minimum score of 50%. Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English are the core subjects taken together. 
• You need to qualify the NEET UG examination.
• You need to register with the Commissioner of Entrance Examination of Kerala to obtain an allotment letter and state rank. 
• You must be at least 17 years old by December 31st of the admission year.
• You must obtain an eligibility certificate from the Kerala University of Health Sciences in case you belong to a different state or are an NRI.

The college offers both MD and MS programs. MD/MS Programmes are- MD (Dermatology) 2 seats, MS (Orthopaedics) 2 seats, MD (Radio-diagnosis) 3 seats, MD (Anaesthesiology) 6 seats, MD (Pediatrics) 3 seats, MS (OBG) 6 seats, MS (General Surgery) 6 seats, MD (General Medicine) 10 seats, MS (Ophthalmology) 3 seats, MS (ENT) 3 seats, MD (Community Medicine) 2 seats, MD (Pharmacology) 2 seats, MD (Microbiology) 3 seats, MD (Pathology) 2 seats, MD (Biochemistry) 2 seats, MD (Physiology) 2 seats and MS (Anatomy) 2 seats. 

Eligibility:

• You must complete MBBS from any of the Medical Council of India recognised colleges. 
• You must have completed the 1 year of compulsory rotatory internship.
• You must have obtained a Permanent Registration Number from any state Medical Council.
• You must have qualified in the NEET Postgraduate Exam of that year, verified through the presentation of a score sheet.
• You must register with the Commissioner of Entrance Examination of Kerala to obtain a state rank and allotment letter.
• You must obtain an Eligibility certificate from the Kerala University of Health Sciences, if you have completed graduation at other universities.

DNB programmes are: DrNB Medical Gastroenterology 2 seats, DrNB Surgical Gastroenterology 2 seats, DrNB Neurology 1 seat and DNB Emergency Medicine 3+1 seats. Postdoctoral DNB courses are also available. 

Eligibility:

DNB Postgraduate:

• The MBBS degree must be obtained from a college accredited by the Medical Council of India or an international university.
• You must complete the 1 year of compulsory rotatory internship.
• You must obtain a Permanent Registration Number from any state Medical Council.
• You must qualify in the DNB-CET or CET-NBE.

DNB Post Doctoral:

• You must complete MD/MS from any college recognized by the MCI or from a foreign university.
• You must obtain a Permanent Registration Number from any state Medical Council.
• You must qualify in the DNB-CET -SS.
