SCPM Ayurvedic Medical College Gonda

The institution boasts 14 well-equipped departments led by a principal, and a committed and hardworking staff of faculty members with a stellar academic background, professional experience, and teaching expertise. The dissection room has enough room, good ventilation, and enough cadavers to teach human anatomy. According to CCIM guidelines, all museums, including Anatomy and Dravyaguna, are outfitted with the necessary supplies, diagrams, models, specimens, and preserved objects.

SCPMA C&H is a 100-bed hospital that is completely equipped to care for in-patients with a variety of health concerns. It has all the standard amenities, including beds and cots, bathrooms and toilets, hot water, and all the clinical needs. There are two types of wards: special wards and normal wards. A sufficient number of skilled and knowledgeable medical, nursing, and paramedical personnel, therapists, and technicians are on duty to sustain the facility. Surgery and parasurgical procedures are carried out in an operating room. Within the hospital, there is a distinct yoga and physical therapy center. We also have distinct wards for men and women. 24-hour ambulance service is also available.

The college has a well-equipped laboratory that helps conduct experiments as needed to complete the course and complies with CCIM standards. During college hours, the lab remains open only under the supervision of lab technician. The public can also use the lab to precisely diagnose their issues for a minimal fee. The lab has facilities for blood tests, ECGs, USGs, and X-rays.

The students will be fed wholesome meals in a well-designed dining hall that can hold up to 200 children at once. At the hostel, only vegetarian meals will be offered. The hostel warden will be in charge of overseeing both quality and efficiency. On college campuses, there are separate dorms for males and females. There are 128 boys’ and 360 girls’ rooms available. Triple sharing will be used to assign rooms. Wardrobes, cribs, bookshelves, study tables with chairs, and adjoining bathrooms are furnished in every room.

Additionally, the college has an audiovisual room with computers and projectors for use in interdepartmental seminars, guest lectures, etc. Interactive whiteboards and projectors are used in every undergraduate classroom to facilitate intelligent learning. The college offers a large range of medications under the umbrella of Ayurvedic medicine. The pharmacy is fully stocked with high-quality, name-brand ayurvedic medications. 

The college features a large auditorium that can accommodate 400 individuals in seats. The staff and student-organized seminars and guest lectures are held in the auditorium. Annual sporting and cultural activities where students can display their talents. The lecture halls have all the fixtures and furnishings required by CCIM standards, including enough ventilation, to ensure quiet lectures. The  classrooms offer the most conducive environment for lively and targeted conversations.

There are 15 different types of journals and 5632 books in the college’s collection. There are volumes accessible on Western School of Medicine and Ayurveda. To enable students to search the internet for online journals, the library offers computer services as well as a digital library. The reading space has lots of natural light and airflow. The hours of operation for the library are 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.

There are 196 different types of herbs, shrubs, and uncommon plants in the 4850 square meter drip-irrigated herbal garden on the college campus. The college has two buses of its own to carry students.
