KMCT Medical College Kozhikode is a muslim minority private institution estab;ished in 2008. The college is recognised by the Medical Council of India (MCI) and affiliated to Kerala University of Health Sciences, Thrissur. It is the first and the only medical college in Kerala to have NAAC Accreditation of Grade “A”.
Since its inception, the college has achieved tremendous academic success which states that the college is a centre of academic excellence. The college has an attached hospital named KMCT Medical College Hospital, functioning with multiple specialties with 1200+ beds. The college organizes Alumni Association meetings every year and also gives suggestions for the betterment of the college.
Courses Offered
KMCT Medical College Kozhikode offers MBBS courses with an annual intake of 150 students. Out of these 150 seats 60 seats are Community seats, 23 seats are reserved for NRI Quota, 23 seats are for All India Quota and 44 are reserved for Government Seats. It is a four-and-a-half-year MBBS program that includes an additional year of compulsory rotating internship.
